MENLO PARK, CA – Facebook announced a new feature today called “Reaction History”. This tool gives users a way to see all their past reactions on Facebook. People can now find every Like, Love, Haha, Wow, Sad, or Angry reaction they have ever made.
The feature is available now within the Activity Log section of a user’s profile. Finding it is simple. Users go to their profile. They click “Activity Log”. Then they select “Interactions”. Finally, they choose “Reactions”. This shows the complete history.
This new tool helps users understand their own activity on Facebook. People can see how they interacted with content over time. They might remember specific posts. They can see patterns in their reactions. The history includes reactions to posts, photos, and videos.
Users have control over their Reaction History. They can search for specific reactions. They can filter by date. They can also look for particular reaction types. For example, someone could find all posts they reacted to with “Love” last month.
Facebook states this feature improves transparency. Users get a clearer picture of their Facebook activity. The company believes this empowers users. People can manage their online presence better.
Privacy is important. Facebook confirmed Reaction History is private. Only the user can see their own reaction history. Other people cannot access it. This history includes reactions made on posts shared with the user.
