Affected by the continuous increase in the prices of upstream raw materials BDO, PTA, and adipic acid, on July 30, Kanghui New Material Technology Co., Ltd. and Lijin (Suzhou) Trading Co., Ltd. issued price adjustment notices, announcing that PBAT would increase by RMB 2,000/ton. The price increase will be implemented on August 1. It is reported that this is the third price increase of Hengli Kanghui in July!
On the previous July 1st and July 8th, Kanghui New Material Technology Co., Ltd. and Lijin (Suzhou) Trading Co., Ltd. jointly issued price adjustment notices, announcing price increases of 1,000 yuan and 800 yuan, respectively, with a cumulative increase of 1,800 yuan/ Ton. Thanks to China Post’s 50 million order stimulus + upstream BDO supply shortage + plastic ban, merchants have a strong attitude of reluctance to sell. In the short term, PBAT market prices remain firm.
